RABBI NOSSON TROPPER
General Studies Dean
Rabbi Tropper has joined the Yeshiva of Great Neck Administration this year, bringing with him years of experience in administration and in molding young men.
​
He has served as Founding Dean of a yeshiva high school in San Diego, as the Principal of a dual-curriculum yeshiva and college preparatory program in Pittsburgh, and most recently as Acting Principal in a well-known Yeshiva High School in Brooklyn, NY.

Rabbi Tropper is committed to the Yeshiva's vision - excellence in all areas, and creating an environment that is both warm and engaging, while challenging students at the same time.

Mr. John Ferara
ELA
Mr. John Ferrara has been a public-school, English teacher for over 25 years in the Sewanhaka Central High School District in Floral Park, New York. He obtained his bachelor's degree at Hofstra University and earned his master's degree at Queens College. He has written several curricula for the Sewanhaka Central High School District focusing on changing the dynamics of teaching English. He has taught the New York State Regents Examination for over 20 years and has a 100% passing rate.
Mr. Scott Colvin
US and Global History
With over 3 decades of teaching experience, including 20+ years at New Hyde Park Memorial High, Mr. Colvin has developed a strong reputation as an educator par excellence. His warm and energetic personality, engaging and professional classroom environment, and dynamic multi-modality lessons create an environment where every student can succeed to their fullest potential.
Mr. Colvin is committed to the success of each student and is excited to work hand-in-hand with the Yeshiva administration and its outstanding team of educators to further cultivate the atmosphere of excellence the General Studies program is known for.
Mr. Robert Brusca
Mathematics
Mr. Brusa currently holds a Master's Degree in Mathematics, and is a Certified NYS Teacher. He has been teaching at at New Hyde Park Memorial High School for over 6 years.
He also taught at P.S./I.S. 78 for 2 years prior to this.
Mr. Brusca's clarity and ability to break down complex mathematical concepts makes him a favorite of both students and staff at Yeshiva of Great Neck. He has a firm grasp, as well, on what his students need and where they can use extra help.
